A small retreat for Earth Energies NZ Sanctuary is organized around a chimney and central lightwell. The compact interior supports quiet occupation, with operable translucent panels opening toward the landscape.

Radiata pine framing, charred timber cladding, and galvanized corrugated roofing form a simple construction palette. A pier foundation limits contact with the ground.
